Today, NARAL Pro-Choice America PAC released a statement from NARAL Pro-Choice America president Ilyse Hogue about their endorsement of Bruce Braley for U.S. Senate:
“Bruce Braley has a flawless record in support of a woman’s right to make her own medical decisions. He is the clear choice in a field of conservatives who want to deny Americans the ability to choose what is right for their health and their families. We need a Congress that respects and trusts women.”
Rep. Braley happily accepted the PAC’s endorsement and said:
“I’m proud to receive this endorsement. I’ve worked hard to protect Iowa women’s reproductive rights and access to basic health care, and I am committed to continuing to advocate for reproductive rights in the Senate. Iowa women deserve nothing less than the right to make private and personal decisions without intrusion from politicians.”
