Ross Endorsed By NARAL Pro-Choice America PAC
NARAL Pro-Choice America PAC today announced its endorsement of former State Representative Deborah Ross in North Carolina’s U.S. Senate race.
“Deborah Ross is a true champion for Americans’ reproductive freedom and we are proud to stand with her in her campaign for Senate,” said Ilyse Hogue, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America. “As a former state representative, Deborah has stood up for our constitutional right to choose and defended the safe and legal access to abortion that is supported by seven in ten Americans. The people of North Carolina deserve someone who will fight for their reproductive freedom in Washington, which is why we are proud to endorse Deborah Ross for U.S. Senate.”
Deborah Ross has a been a champion for North Carolinians’ reproductive rights. As former executive director of the ACLU of North Carolina and former representative in the North Carolina General Assembly, Ross has consistently defended access to reproductive health care, championing policies that support North Carolina’s women and families year after year. She has stood with NARAL and women across North Carolina to expose the deceptive practices of so-called “crisis pregnancy centers” that lie to and manipulate women to prevent them from accessing abortion care.
