NARAL Identifies Members of the “Trump Squad,” Shows GOP Candidates across the Nation Working from Same “Make Misogyny Great Again” Playbook As Trump
NARAL Pro-Choice America is rolling out a digital and field campaign in states across the country to demonstrate the anti-choice ties between Donald Trump and GOP Senate candidates–collectively known as the “Trump Squad.” Republican Senate candidates have tried to distance themselves from Donald Trump, but their extreme, anti-choice records make it clear that they share his goal to Make Misogyny Great Again.

The campaign features targeted digital ads, in-person protests, commemorative Trump Squad player cards for distribution at events across the country, geotargeted Snapchat filters, and a “Make Misogyny Great Again” playbook that all highlight the Trump Squad’s shared agenda to hold back women and families. This weekend, NARAL took the Trump Squad protest to the Values Voter Summit in Washington, D.C., and Miami Beach to talk to voters about the anti-choice, anti-woman agenda shared by Donald Trump, Marco Rubio, and other GOP Senate candidates.
“There is no daylight between Donald Trump and the GOP’s anti-choice Senate candidates across the country, and our campaign will remind voters of that this fall,” said Ilyse Hogue, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America. “They all want to erode reproductive freedom by defunding Planned Parenthood, repealing Roe v. Wade, and even limiting access to contraception. They’re all on the same anti-choice team that wants to Make Misogyny Great Again, and we’ll be in the states to spread the word.”
Trump Squad members include Marco Rubio (R-FL), Joe Heck (R-NV), Richard Burr (R-NC), John McCain (R-AZ), Roy Blunt (R-MO), Pat Toomey (R-PA), Ron Johnson (R-WI), Rob Portman (R-OH), Chuck Grassley (R-IA), and Kelly Ayotte (R-NH), all of whom are obsessed with defunding Planned Parenthood and banning abortion, no matter the cost to American women and families.
