The nation’s leading pro-choice advocacy group today endorsed the strong pro-choice leaders running for Congress in New York. NARAL Pro-Choice America PAC announced its endorsements of Anna Throne-Holst (NY-01), Tom Suozzi (NY-03), Nita Lowey (NY-17), Zephyr Teachout (NY-19), Kim Myers (NY-22), Colleen Deacon (NY-24), and Louise Slaughter (NY-25). These candidates earned NARAL’s endorsement because of their dedication to defending abortion access and advancing the reproductive freedom of all Americans.

The anti-choice Republicans who control Congress have focused on efforts to ban abortion and roll back the reproductive freedom of all Americans. Anti-choice Republicans in Congress have voted to ban abortion at 20 weeks of pregnancy, restrict women’s ability to access contraception, and have repeatedly voted to defund Planned Parenthood.
