Tom Nelson (WI-08) earns endorsement of nation’s leading pro-choice advocacy group
NARAL Pro-Choice America today announced its endorsement of Tom Nelson, a candidate for Wisconsin’s 8th Congressional District. Tom Nelson is a strong pro-choice advocate who is dedicated to defending reproductive freedom and expanding access to basic reproductive healthcare, including abortion.

Unfortunately, Tom’s opponent will be just another rubber stamp for congressional Republicans in their effort to ban abortion and limit access to birth control. Hardworking Wisconsin families want their leaders to focus on creating jobs and improving the economy, not on taking endless votes to defund Planned Parenthood like congressional Republicans have done. Those aren’t the priorities of Wisconsin families and they never will be. Tom Nelson is a strong advocate for women and families and will fight to defend access to basic reproductive healthcare, including abortion. Tom’s opponent, Mike Gallagher, has campaigned on a platform to roll back our reproductive freedom and has been vocal about his opposition to the constitutionally protected right to access abortion.
