October 9, 2016

Nearly 50,000 NARAL and CREDO members have signed a petition calling on Anderson Cooper and Martha Raddatz to #AskAboutAbortion during tonight’s presidential debate. The campaign is a follow-up to the nationwide digital campaign led by NARAL Pro-Choice America during the presidential primaries encouraging moderators to ask he candidates about their plans to protect abortion access.

On Thursday, in a letter sent to the moderators of the 2nd presidential debate, leaders from NARAL, EMILY’s List, Planned Parenthood Action Fund, CREDO, UltraViolet, All* Above All Action Fund, Feminist Majority, and the National Organization for Women encouraged Cooper and Raddatz to ask the candidates about their plan to address the crisis of abortion access in the United States. A previous letter was sent to Lester Holt ahead of the first presidential debate.
