Honda (CA-17) Earns Endorsement of Nation’s Leading Pro-Choice Advocacy Group
NARAL Pro-Choice America today announced its endorsement of Rep. Mike Honda as he campaigns for re-election in California’s 17th Congressional District. As a leader who has defended our reproductive freedom and access to abortion, Mike Honda has always fought for the values of hardworking Californians.

Rep. Mike Honda is a steadfast advocate for women’s health and reproductive freedom. His long track record of supporting reproductive rights and access to basic health care, including abortion, has earned him a perfect score in NARAL’s most recent annual rating of members of Congress. Honda actively fought back against attempts by anti-choice politicians to defund Planned Parenthood and ban abortion nationwide at 20 weeks of pregnancy. In addition to standing up to repeated attacks on our reproductive rights, Honda also worked to expand access to reproductive health care, including supporting the Women’s Health Protection Act, which would repeal the discriminatory Hyde Amendment and expand access to abortion.
