Rob Quist Earns Endorsement of Nation’s Leading Pro-Choice Advocacy Group
NARAL Pro-Choice America today announced its endorsement of Montana community activist and musician Rob Quist for Congress (MT-AL). With Americans’ reproductive freedoms under increasing attack by anti-choice politicians like Greg Gianforte, Rob Quist will stand up for the rights of women and families in Congress.
“NARAL and our 1.2 million member activists are proud to stand with Rob Quist in his campaign for Congress,” said Ilyse Hogue, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America. “With our rights as women under attack like never before, our families can’t afford to send just another partisan ideologue to Congress. We deserve leaders who will protect our access to basic health care and respect our constitutionally protected choice to access abortion. Rob Quist will fight to protect the reproductive freedoms of all Americans and to defend the values that make our nation great.”

These aren’t the priorities of hardworking Montana families and it’s the kind of out-of-touch agenda that Rob Quist will fight against every day as our next Congressman.”
Rob Quist’s dedication and passion in fighting for women and families stands in stark contrast to his opponent, anti-choice politician Greg Gianforte. Gianforte has helped steer millions of dollars to fringe groups that seek to restrict Americans’ reproductive freedom. This included more than $1.6 million given by his family foundation to anti-choice organizations, including so-called “crisis pregnancy centers” that lie to women about their reproductive health care options and push an anti-choice ideology under the guise of providing health care.
NARAL Pro-Choice America and NARAL Pro-Choice Montana released a report in 2013 revealing the extreme and deceptive measures employed by many “crisis pregnancy centers” in order to prevent women from exercising their right to choose abortion care.
