NARAL Pro-Choice America today announced its endorsement of Carolyn Maloney in her campaign for re-election to represent New York’s 12th Congressional District.
“Congresswoman Maloney is a fighter for New York women and families, and we are proud to endorse her re-election to Congress,” said Ilyse Hogue, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America. “We need Members of Congress like Congresswoman Maloney who will always stand up and fight for the reproductive healthcare rights of women and families. Congresswoman Maloney has never stopped fighting for women and we will never stop fighting for her.”
“I’m so honored to earn NARAL Pro-Choice America’s endorsement. I’ve been fighting to protect a woman’s right to choose for my entire career and that fight has never been more important than it is today,” said Maloney. “I look forward to working with NARAL to defend a woman’s constitutional right to make her own health care decisions.”
Carolyn Maloney has been a steadfast champion for women and families during her tenure in Congress. Maloney has lead the way in going the extra mile to advocate for the reproductive healthcare rights of women and has been a sponsor of the Stop Deceptive Advertising for Women’s Healthcare Services Act. Fake women’s health clinics are currently in the spotlight due to the ongoing NIFLA v. Becerra SCOTUS case.
NARAL Pro-Choice America and its network of state affiliates are dedicated to protecting and expanding reproductive freedom for all Americans. NARAL works to guarantee that every woman has the right to make personal decisions regarding the full range of reproductive choices, including preventing unintended pregnancy, bearing healthy children, and choosing legal abortion. In recognition of its work defending our constitutional right to choose, Fortune Magazine described NARAL as “one of the top 10 advocacy groups in America.”
