Brett Kavanaugh was chosen because they live up to Trump’s litmus test and will be a vote to end Roe v. Wade, criminalize abortion, and punish women. These Senators hold the keys to women’s futures and our fundamental freedoms in their hands. Either women will continue to have the legal right to decide what happens with our bodies, and a hope to access to safe abortion, or Donald Trump’s Supreme Court will undo centuries of progress where women have been in control of our families and our lives.
Senators must understand that voters, including two million NARAL members, will not forget a vote to overturn Roe and criminalize women—not today and most certainly not at the ballot box. We need senators who understand it isn’t their place to play judge and jury on women. The message is clear: every senator must stand unequivocally for our fundamental freedoms, or they will pay the price in November.
