NARAL Boosts Multimillion Dollar Final Election Push With Additional $750,000 Ad Campaign in Battleground Districts

Today, NARAL Pro-Choice America announced a $750,000 mail and digital ad campaign targeted to NARAL members who live in battleground congressional districts. NARAL’s national two million members vote at a rate of 90%, making them reliable voters who turn out on election day. The ads will expose the records of candidates who do not support women and families and show why NARAL is supporting candidates who believe in reproductive freedom. The ads come at a time when support for Roe v. Wade has never been higher with 7 in 10 Americans saying they do not want to see Roe overturned.

The print mail pieces are running in 17 key races: AZ Senate, AZ-2, IL-06, IA Governor ME-2, MO-2, MN Senate, MT Senate, NM Governor, NV-3, NV-4, NV Governor, NV Senate, TX-7, TX-32, VA-7, WI Senate.

In 18 races, NARAL is running digital ads:, AZ-2, AZ Senate, CO-6, CO Governor, IA Governor, MI-11, MN-2, MN-3, MN Senate, MO-2, MT Senate, NM Governor, NV Governor, NV Senate, NV-3, NV-4, OH Senate, WI Senate.

This buy comes on top of the $5 million NARAL has spent in the midterm elections, including nearly $2 million in a final ad campaign push:

  • A $1 million tv and digital ad campaign to run against Reps. Young (IA-3), Roskam (IL-6), Yoder (KS-3), Tenney (NY-22), Culberson (TX-7), Lewis (MN-2) and Brat (VA-7) that urges voters to “vote them out” and warns that the Republican Party harms and silences women.
  • A $750,000 mail and digital campaign to educate drop-off, suburban women voters in Denver, CO, Port St Lucie, FL, Cedar Rapids, IA, Des Moines, IA, Southern Twin Cities, MN, Las Vegas, NV, Dallas, TX, and Leesburg, VA about the real threats to Roe v. Wade and the dangers of criminalizing abortion.
