In response to the Kansas Supreme Court ruling guaranteeing abortion rights at the state level, NARAL Vice President Adrienne Kimmell released the following statement:
“This ruling from the Kansas Supreme Court reaffirms what we know to be true: every woman deserves the right to determine if, when, and how to start a family. We applaud the court’s decision to uphold this fundamental right at the state level, which sends a clear message that anti-choice politicians’ unconstitutional attacks on women and families will not stand up in court. We celebrate the tireless work of our partners at the Center for Reproductive Rights that led to this victory for women across Kansas.”
