NARAL Pro-Choice America today announced its endorsement of Congressman Tom O’Halleran in his campaign for re-election to represent Arizona’s 1st Congressional District.
“Congressman Tom O’Halleran has stood up for reproductive freedom in Congress, and now we’re proud to stand with him,” said Ilyse Hogue, President of NARAL Pro-Choice America. “We need strong allies like Congressman O’Halleran to fight back against Donald Trump and Republicans’ extreme attacks on our fundamental rights. That’s why we’re endorsing his re-election to Congress to make sure that Arizona women and families continue to have a proven fighter in their corner.”

Congressman O’Halleran is a strong fighter for reproductive freedom who has earned a 100% rating from NARAL Pro-Choice America ever since he was first elected to Congress in 2016. While in Congress, O’Halleran voted against an unconstitutional abortion ban, and fought hard to protect access to abortion for women across the country. He has stood up to Republican attacks on the Affordable Care Act and fought to protects its provisions related to access to birth control.
